Dentists are following the easing of restrictions for preventing the spread of COVID19 by moving to Level 1 precautions.
Level 1 in dentistry
In a nutshell, so long as you are well, have no cold or flu-like symptoms and have not been in close contact with anyone who is unwell, then dental treatments can go ahead.
Compared to Level 2 . . .
Dental instruments including the ultrasonic attachment for routine cleaning and high speed drill are no longer prohibited, so most procedures are now permitted.
Social distancing at the dentist
Our staff will continue to ask screening questions prior to booking an appointment, and again when you arrive. Please understand that as we do this with all patients, we are keeping you safe too.
At reception we have modified our practices and reception area with social distancing in mind.
In addition, staff are conscious of keeping themselves ‘distanced’, and will not attend for work if they come into contact with anyone who is unwell.
We will continue with our slightly shorter operating hours of 9am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday.
