Kit bought a well-respected Maroochydore practice in June 2000, and moved with his wife and family – three year-old daughter and 6 month old twin boys. It’s fair to say that business was smoother than life at home at this stage!
In August 2002, the practice relocated to its current location on Fourth Avenue – a site originally built as a funeral parlour.
Life before dentistry
Kit – a shortening of Christopher – tried varied careers before returning to dental school as a mature student. Previous roles include paralegal, barman, doorman for the BBC in London and finally a tour guide in Europe, Russia and Scandinavia.
He graduated in 1996 from the University of Leeds in England, winning the prize for Clinical Dentistry and Certificate of Merit in Oral Surgery in his final year. Perhaps this is down to fate: he follows his grandfather and mother into the profession. Kit has a firm commitment to continuing education and an interest in advanced cosmetics procedures and creating new smiles.
Upon graduating, he worked in a couple of busy practices in West Yorkshire. He moved to Australia in 1999 and enjoys spending time with his family at the beach, surfing, skiing and camping.
